Yes, we are all excited to welcome and introduce our Bb. Pilipinas 2013. She has a gifted eye for form and color, which is why she loves to paint. She is absorbed in adventure and excitement, which is why she loves to read. She is curious and inquisitive, which is why she loves to travel. And, she is tender and compassionate, which is why she is loved by everyone.
Lara Angelica De Dios Mabanta is a multitalented 18 year old young woman who is now a Senior at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School and aspires to become a successful Veterinarian in the future. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Sociedad Honoraria
On her spare time, she volunteers at the Weissman Children Center where she helps put the sick children at ease and comfortable. She has been a Varsity Cheerleader since her Freshman year at Bishop Eustace whose team won the State Conference championship competition last year. She competes for the school’s Track and Field team and plays the violin for Bishop Eustace String Orchestra. And she sings and dances for their annual school play.
Her proud parents Dr. Ricardo Mabanta and Charito de Dios Mabanta are equally glad for her to be selected as Bb. Pilipinas 2013. She will be crowned at the Philippine Independence Grand Ball on June 14 at the Marquis Hotel in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
