FAABCI Responds with $8,000 to Help Typhoon Victims

FAABCI President Nida Imperial, together with Rhodesa “Apple Abarintos-Seda attended the monthly meeting where Seda presented their check to help support the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines. President Hermie Aczon beamed as it was a celebratory moment when the Chair applauded Seda and also thanked all the member associations who gave their share of support to the Council-wide effort.

Earlier, President Hermie Aczon’s guested on  CBS-3 Public Affairs segment of the popular show hosted by Ukee Washington.  She wasted no time in making an urgent appeal to a broad audience of the program for financial contributions to the Typhoom Yolanda victims in the Philippines. As a result of this the Council have generated tremendous support from across the broad spectrum of our community. (click here to see donors)

The recent onslaught of Typhoon Yolanda proved to be the most devastating and disastrous typhoon in Asia.  Many of our countrymen are without food, water and shelter. This is the time for us to reach out to them.
