The FECGP-FOP Event held last January 26th netted $17,203 to further help victims of the most cruel storm to ever hit the Philippines: Typhoon Yolanda. The event came about after several meetings with leaders of the FOP Lodge 5 and Pres. Hermie Aczon. Together she and her team worked hard at the preliminary stages and a Committee was formed to plan, coordinate and execute the event.
In a jampacked function room of Heroes Ballroom in beautiful Bucks, County, Pennsylvania, President Hermie Aczon personally welcomed guests as everybodysettled in and had a wonderful time with sumptuous food, beer and fun. The ballroom was electrified with the music provided by a super DJ “Chis Bansali” Asoraux of Ikon Sound Entertainment.
The FECGP-FOP Committee members are: Steven Weiler, P/O Paul Ablaza, P/O Robert Jala, P/O Yun-Taek Yim, P/O Carnina Bayle, Ferdinand Aczon, Louie Sauris, Noel Abejo, Ruben David, and Sen Fontanilla. Deputy Consul General Zaldy Patron honored us with his presence.
The event was highlighter with our recognition of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 for the selfless contribution to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines. Food was great, beer on the tap went fast as there were just pure fun and friendships built and renewed as I went around the ballroom. Double click on photo to view slideshow.
