COMCAST-NBC Comcares Day April 25: Getting the best from Volunteerism

Get ready and be part of the COMCAST-NBC Comcares Day this coming Saturday, April 25.  Volunteers from local colleges and universities, young professionals, and community leaders will converge at the Greenfield Elementary School at 22nd and Chestnut in Philadelphia from 7AM to 2 Noon to spend a day of cleaning, painting and keep things looking good. It’s one great way of giving back to our community!

Volunteers will be lending a hand in the maintenance work which is really fun when done in a group effort! Just look at these photos taken from last year’s COMCAST Comcares Day 2014 when FECGP with ICAGP, IBC and FAAMCI joined other volunteers during a day that was truly rewarding: making new friends, Civics 101 and even how to handle power tools!  Join us this Saturday.
