4th of July Parade

The 4th of July parade was a success. The parade is part of the “Welcome America” celebrations by Sunoco of Philadelphia and have been going on for years.

Members of different Filipino organizations assembled early with their colorful costumes and attire.  They added a more ethnic and colorful flair to the annual parade with the welcoming cheers and applause of the crowd that came out to see the parade.

Grace Valera, Chair of the Migrant Heritage Commission (MHC) and the Filipino Executive Council of Greater Philadelphia, Inc. is deeply grateful for your participation and support. Photos shared by: Senen Fontanilla, Noel Abejo, Ferdie Luyun, Imedla Itchon.

  2. It’s nice that you are keeping the annual tradition well and alive. More power to FECGP, Inc., the one and only umbrella Filipino organization in Greater Philadelphia. May God bless us all. …… Dr. A. P. Jaurigue
